On 7/10, Raine Riley gets word that Ernestine Waters' internship has been canceled after her mother revoked her approval. According to Analeigh Woods, Director Magdy's assistant, this change of heart was sparked by Lily's very angry mother-in-law, who also came all the way out to the Station, only to scream in the face of the Lenz Polzin (the gate guard at the time) and demand a meeting with the director. She didn't get one and left still-fuming.

Unfortunately, without Lily's approval, there's not much that can be done for poor Ernestine, who is no doubt devastated.
